Mars in Cancer
Mars in Cancer means Mars was in Cancer when you were born. In astrology Mars stands for your drive and energy; Cancer is a water sign ruled by the Moon, tender and protective.
You fight hardest for the people, rarely for yourself.
Mars in Cancer drives sideways, like the crab: indirectly, protectively, with astonishing force when family or home is threatened. You struggle to act on your own behalf yet become a lion the moment someone you love is cornered. Anger, unexpressed, sinks inward with you and turns to brooding; it needs a tide gate. Name the grievance while it is small. And practise this rule until it holds: defending yourself is not aggression. You are also someone worth the lion.
