Mercury in Taurus
Mercury in Taurus means Mercury was in Taurus when you were born. In astrology Mercury stands for how you think and speak; Taurus is an earth sign ruled by Venus, steady and sensory.
You think slowly, decide once, and rarely need to repeat yourself.
Mercury in Taurus thinks the way stone walls are built: piece by piece, tested by hand. You distrust rushed conclusions and slick talkers, preferring ideas that survive a night's sleep. When you finally speak, people notice, because your words carry the weight of actual consideration. Learning takes you longer and lasts you decades. The habit to loosen is mistaking familiar for true; now and then, walk around a new idea twice before declining it. Some of them are load-bearing.
